Franklin & Hawkins Family Funerals role is to arrange a funeral, according to the bereaved wishes and ensure everything goes according to plan on the day. We will discuss the bereaved needs and advise on the range of services and products available and organise and coordinate in a caring, sensitive manner. We will go that extra mile to accommodate a family’s wishes.

As funeral directors we are responsible for transferring the deceased from the place of death, or where the deceased has been taken, to our premises. Alternatively we can provide practical assistance to allow the deceased to remain at home before the funeral, if this is what you want. We can provide facilities for the viewing of the deceased prior to the funeral, and deal with all the necessary paperwork to allow burial or cremation to take place.

At Franklin & Hawkins Family Funerals we can arrange everything from the date and time for the funeral to take place to liaising with the church, cemetery or crematorium, from providing the necessary vehicles and staff to placing obituaries in local newspapers, from arranging special musical requests to ordering floral tributes on your behalf, record the names of those attending the funeral in order to provide you with a list afterwards, and accept floral tributes and donations for a nominated charity from well-wishers. Whatever your wishes are we will arrange with dignity and professionalism to ensure the service is carried out exactly as you want.
